Impact of Non-Accelerated Aging on the Properties of Parylene C

Franz Selbmann et al.

Summary: The polymer Parylene is extensively studied for packaging applications and shows excellent properties. It is also being explored for new applications such as flexible substrates and MEMS materials. This paper presents the first investigation on the long-term stability and aging of Parylene, demonstrating that it remains highly reliable with only minor changes in its properties over a five-year period.
