Dissipativity-based asynchronous fault detection for T-S fuzzy nonlinear Markov jump systems subject to uncertain probabilities

Mengmeng Liu et al.

Summary: This paper investigates the dissipativity-based asynchronous fault detection problem over unreliable communication for a class of Takagi-Sugeno fuzzy nonlinear Markov jump systems with time-varying delays and uncertain probabilities. The unreliable communication links and stochastic quantization and measurement missing phenomenon are considered. The asynchronization between the plant and the fault detection filter is modeled using independent hidden Markov models. Conditions for asymptotic mean square stability and strict (Q, S, R)-alpha-dissipativity of the residual system are derived using Lyapunov stability theory and slack matrix technique. The parameters of the fault detection filter are explicitly expressed through solving a set of strict linear matrix inequalities.

A novel approach to H8 performance analysis of discrete-time networked systems subject to network-induced delays and malicious packet dropouts

Xian-Ming Zhang et al.

Summary: This paper focuses on the H-infinity performance of discrete-time networked systems in the presence of network-induced delays and malicious packet dropouts. The introduction of a data packet processor allows for explicit calculation of both network-induced delays and the number of consecutive malicious packet dropouts. A novel Lyapunov functional is constructed and necessary and sufficient conditions for a certain inequality are established using the Finsler lemma. By employing the Lyapunov method, a bounded real condition is formulated to investigate the effects of network-induced delays and malicious packet dropouts on H-infinity performance. The proposed method is validated through an inverted pendulum system.

Asynchronous Extended Dissipative Filtering for T-S Fuzzy Markov Jump Systems

Yufeng Tian et al.

Summary: This article addresses the asynchronous reliable extended dissipative filtering problem for a class of continuous-time T-S fuzzy Markov jump systems. By proposing double variables-based decoupling principle and variable substitution principle, a new condition is presented to guarantee the filtering error system to be stochastically stable and extended dissipative. Compared with existing works, the proposed method results in less conservative constraints on the system structure and more general outcomes.

State Estimation for Networked Systems With Markov Driven Transmission and Buffer Constraint

Yong Xu et al.

Summary: This article investigates state estimation for discrete-time systems with a Markov driven transmission strategy and proposes a smart estimator to process the latest measurements, using a buffer with limited capacity. A convex sufficient condition is established for designing estimator gains to ensure system stability and performance, with two examples illustrating the effectiveness of the result under different conditions.

Reset Moving Horizon Estimation for Quantized Discrete Time Systems

Yong Xu et al.

Summary: This article discusses reset moving horizon estimation for multiple output discrete-time systems with quantized measurements, introducing a new state reset estimator and proposing an iterative algorithm for dealing with multiple output systems. The results show that the proposed algorithm improves state estimation error in the presence of underestimation or overestimation, while also establishing boundedness of the estimation error.
