Aperiodically intermittent control for synchronization of discrete-time delayed neural networks

Pengfei Wang et al.

Summary: This paper focuses on the aperiodically intermittent control (AIC) for synchronization of discrete-time neural networks with time delay. The synchronization is analyzed using the piecewise Lyapunov function approach and the piecewise Lyapunov-Krasovskii functional approach. The average activation time ratio of AIC is estimated, which is more general and less conservative than the minimum activation time ratio. Finally, a numerical example is presented to demonstrate the effectiveness and less conservatism of the obtained results.

Aperiodically intermittent stabilization for complex-valued hybrid stochastic delayed systems: An average technique

Pengfei Wang et al.

Summary: This paper introduces a new aperiodically intermittent control method by relaxing constraints through the introduction of average control ratio and average control period. Novel stabilization criteria for small and large time delays are proposed based on the complex generalized Itos formula, with numerical simulations demonstrating the effectiveness and reduced conservativeness of the approach.

Intermittent Control for Quasisynchronization of Delayed Discrete-Time Neural Networks

Sanbo Ding et al.

Summary: This article introduces an event-dependent intermittent mechanism and develops succinct sufficient conditions to achieve the quasisynchronization control of delayed discrete-time neural networks. Under the proposed method, the work/rest time of the controller is aperiodic, unpredictable, and initial value dependent. Simulation examples are provided to demonstrate the feasibility of the designed intermittent mechanism.

Stabilization of novel multi-layer networks with noise-based nonlinear superior couplings via aperiodically adaptive intermittent pinning control

Sen Li et al.

Summary: This paper introduces novel multi-layer networks with superior couplings on a non-strongly connected digraph, featuring a nonlinear coupling based on white noises. The networks are stabilized using aperiodically adaptive intermittent pinning control, with a specific analysis framework for selecting control target vertexes. The stability is achieved by employing periodically adaptive intermittent control on the first layer networks and utilizing noise stabilization for other layers networks. Through graph theory and the Lyapunov method, an exponential stabilization criterion is established, and applied to a class of stochastic coupled oscillators with sufficient conditions for stability.

Summary: This brief paper researches the issue of finite-time stabilization for memristor-based inertial neural networks with mixed time-varying delays using a new analytical method. Improved results on synchronization of stochastic delayed networks under aperiodically intermittent control

Ying Guo et al.

Summary: This paper addresses the synchronization of stochastic complex networks with time-varying delay via aperiodically intermittent control (AIC). By proposing the concepts of average control ratio and average control frequency for AIC, some new synchronization conditions are obtained, which relax the constraints and reduce the conservativeness. Two types of time delay are investigated, and an example of coupled stochastic oscillators systems is presented to demonstrate the effectiveness and superiority of the results.

Synchronization Control for Discrete-Time-Delayed Dynamical Networks With Switching Topology Under Actuator Saturations

Yonggang Chen et al.

Summary: This article addresses the synchronization control problem for discrete-time dynamical networks with mixed delays and switching topology. It specifically considers the saturation phenomenon of physical actuators and establishes conditions ensuring the stability of error dynamics and existence of desired controller gains. Three convex optimization problems are formulated for disturbance tolerance, performance constraints, and initial conditions. Two simulation examples demonstrate the effectiveness and merits of the proposed results.

Stabilization to Exponential Input-to-State Stability via Aperiodic Intermittent Control

Bin Liu et al.

Summary: This article studies the stabilization to exponential ISS via aperiodic intermittent control for continuous-time systems. It investigates the minimum activation time rate of both time-triggered and event-triggered APIC, and proposes state dependent E-APIC to reduce conservativeness. The results show that E-APIC has best performance with least number of control actions and lowest activation time rate.
