Effect of CNT Parameter Variations on CNTFET Amplifier Performance

G. Gelao et al.

Summary: In this paper, we propose a method to study the relationship between the performance of a CNTFET amplifier and the parameters of a CNT. We analyze the effects on a linear common source amplifier using a N type CNTFET with a resistive gate polarization. We present the analysis for a zig-zag CNT and show that F-3dB has an inverse dependence on the length and decreases at higher structural indices.

Analysis of Noise in Current Mirror Circuits Based on CNTFET and MOSFET

R. Marani et al.

Summary: This paper presents a comparative analysis of the noise performance of CNTFETs and MOSFET through the design of circuits and the use of appropriate models. The spectral density of output noise current is compared for different current values. The study results provide a comparison of the two technologies.

Study of Power Gain Capability of CNTFET Power Amplifier in THz Frequency Range

G. Gelao et al.

Summary: This paper investigates the application of a single-CNTFET as a power amplifier in the THz frequency range. The authors propose a CNTFET model and demonstrate that the device exhibits a maximum gain at different frequencies, with the possibility of achieving stable amplification through tuned matching.
