New Variant of Electrochemical Intercalation Isotherm: Analysis of Instability Region Dependence on Electrolyte Concentration

Dmitrii Anishchenko et al.

Summary: Electroactive redox materials have important applications, but the quantitative thermodynamic description of these materials remains unclear. Existing electrochemical intercalation isotherm variants cannot explain the dependence of redox materials' voltammetric responses on the electrolyte concentration. A new electrochemical intercalation isotherm model that considers both positive and negative ions in the electrolyte solution is proposed, which can explain the dependence of redox materials' voltammetric responses on the electrolyte concentration.
