Morphometric evaluation of the alveolar bone around central incisors during surgical orthodontic treatment of high-angle skeletal class III malocclusion

Huimin Ma et al.

Summary: The study evaluated the morphometric characteristics of alveolar bone around the incisors of high-angle skeletal class III patients receiving surgical orthodontic treatment. The results showed poor bone quality before and after treatment, with further bone resorption occurring during treatment, highlighting the importance of paying attention to anterior tooth movement in cases of severe alveolar bone loss.
