Disclosure and help-seeking behaviors related to sexual and physical violence in childhood and adolescence: Results from the Namibia Violence Against Children and Youth Survey

Summary: This study aimed to explore the factors that influence disclosure and help-seeking behaviors for childhood violence in Namibia, sub-Saharan Africa. The study found that there were differences in disclosure and help-seeking behaviors by gender and type of violence, highlighting the need for gender-specific violence services to facilitate disclosure and help-seeking.
