Heat Transfer Analysis of the MHD Stagnation Point Flow of a Non-Newtonian Tangent Hyperbolic Hybrid Nanofluid past a Non-Isothermal Flat Plate with Thermal Radiation Effect

Abdullah Dawar et al.

Summary: This study investigates the magnetohydrodynamic flow of a water-based hybrid nanofluid containing ferrous and graphene oxide nanoparticles past a flat plate, taking into account the stagnation points, magnetic field and thermal radiation. The non-Newtonian behavior of the flow is also considered, and the proposed model is analytically solved using HAM. The results show that the velocity field is significantly reduced with increasing volume fractions of the nanoparticles, while the thermal field is increased. The viscosity of the flow is increased with a larger power-law index, resulting in an increased velocity field but an opposite effect on the thermal field.

Electro-magnetohydrodynamics hybrid nanofluid flow with gold and magnesium oxide nanoparticles through vertical parallel plates

M. M. Bhatti et al.

Summary: In this study, the flow of hybrid nanofluid between vertical parallel plates was investigated, taking into account the effect of electro-magnetohydrodynamics. Perturbation strategy was used to obtain analytical solutions for the nonlinear differential equations. The analysis showed that the rate of heat transfer was significantly increased due to the higher thermal conductivity of the hybrid nanofluid. The flow was found to be accelerated with increased buoyancy convection and electric field parameters. The study also highlighted the importance of the nanoparticle volume fraction in affecting the temperature. Comparisons with previous studies were also made. This work has significant applications in biomedical, nuclear, and process engineering for novel thermal duct processing technologies.

Thermal radiation and surface roughness effects on the thermo-magneto-hydrodynamic stability of alumina-copper oxide hybrid nanofluids utilizing the generalized Buongiorno's nanofluid model

Abderrahim Wakif et al.

Summary: This study investigated the effects of thermal radiation and surface roughness on the dynamics of water conveying alumina and copper oxide nanoparticles. It found that increasing Lorentz forces, thermal radiation, and surface roughness enhanced the appearance of convection cells, while stability decreased with higher volumetric fraction and diameter of nanomaterials. Substituting alumina nanoparticles with copper oxide nanoparticles significantly stabilized the hybrid nanofluidic medium.

Heat transfer analysis of the mixed convective flow of magnetohydrodynamic hybrid nanofluid past a stretching sheet with velocity and thermal slip conditions

Muhammad Ramzan et al.

Summary: The study analyzes the magnetohydrodynamic flow of Ag - MgO/ water hybrid nanoliquid with slip conditions on an extending surface, incorporating thermal radiation and Joule heating effects. By utilizing the HAM method, solutions for higher-order ordinary differential equations are obtained, revealing significant variations in thermal and flow performance of the hybrid nanofluid under different flow parameters.

Thermally Enhanced Darcy-Forchheimer Casson-Water/Glycerine Rotating Nanofluid Flow with Uniform Magnetic Field

Anum Shafiq et al.

Summary: This numerical study focuses on the impact of non-linear thermal radiation on magnetohydrodynamic Darcy-Forchheimer Casson-Water/Glycerine nanofluid flow due to a rotating disk, utilizing both single walled and multi walled Carbon nanotubes. The results show that the Forchheimer number, porosity parameter, etc., have significant effects on the velocity and temperature of the fluid flow.
