Diversity and phylogenetic analysis of endosymbionts fromTrioza erytreae(Del Guercio) and its parasitoids in Kenya

Summary: This study evaluated the diversity of African citrus triozid parasitoids and characterized endosymbionts associated with them for potential biological control of the primary vector causing Africa citrus greening disease. Phylogenetic analyses revealed distinct clades of the triozid and parasitoid species, as well as the presence of various bacterial symbionts. The findings suggest future potential for utilizing these parasitoid species and endosymbionts for managing the primary vector and controlling the citrus greening disease.
