Awareness and use of HIV pre-exposure prophylaxis and factors associated with awareness among MSM in Beijing, China

Yanming Sun et al.

Summary: HIV sexual transmission among MSM in Beijing, China has increased, and this study examined PrEP awareness and its influencing factors. The findings showed sub-optimal PrEP awareness and utilization, with lower awareness associated with higher stigma. Strengthening peer education and reducing stigma are critical for improving PrEP awareness.

Study of HIV model via recent improved fractional differential and integral operators

Abd-Allah Hyder et al.

Summary: In this article, a new fractional mathematical model is proposed to study the contagion of HIV using improved fractional differential and integral operators. The model extends and generalizes other operators and utilizes nonlinear alternative fixed point theorems to examine the existence and uniqueness of the proposed model. Different types of Ulam stability for the fractional HIV model are also established. The results extracted in this study can be reduced to previous findings in literature.

Analysis of the Fractional HIV Model under Proportional Hadamard-Caputo Operators

Areej A. Almoneef et al.

Summary: Modeling HIV using fractional operators has advantages over classical integer-order models as it considers both recent status and past behavior. This article introduces a new fractional HIV model and focuses on its solution's existence and uniqueness (EU) as well as stability examination. Leray-Schauder nonlinear alternative and Banach's fixed point theorems are used to analyze the EU results. Additionally, various forms of Ulam's stability findings are developed for this model.

Novel Numerical Estimates of the Pneumonia and Meningitis Epidemic Model via the Nonsingular Kernel with Optimal Analysis

Saima Rashid et al.

Summary: This article investigates a deterministic model of pneumonia-meningitis coinfection using the Atangana-Baleanu fractional derivative operator. The study analyzes a seven-component approach based on ordinary differential equations (DEs) and examines the validity of the model's potential results. The findings suggest that the modulation technique employed effectively reduces the proportion of incidences in various compartments. The use of the next generation matrix to assess equilibrium properties and sensitivity analysis to classify the impact of each component on the spread or prevention of illness are also discussed.

Mukesh Kumar Sharma et al.

Summary: The concept of fuzzy set, intuitionistic set, and mediative fuzzy set as a generalization of a crisp set have been introduced in many real-life applications. This work develops the concept of mediative fuzzy relation and meditative fuzzy projection, extending the basic operations of fuzzy projection. The mediative fuzzy projection is applied in medical diagnosis for post-COVID-19 patients.

Abd-Allah Hyder et al.

Summary: This paper is dedicated to proving new fractional inequalities using recent generalized fractional operators. These inequalities are applicable in the Hermite-Hadamard and Minkowski settings. Many previously established inequalities can be seen as specific examples deduced from the findings. Additionally, comparative remarks are provided to demonstrate the advantage and novelty of the obtained results.

Numerical investigation of fractional-order cholera epidemic model with transmission dynamics via fractal-fractional operator technique

Saima Rashid et al.

Summary: The research aims to determine if infection can be eliminated in a community by using mathematical modelling and simulation techniques with appropriate protective controls. The study investigates the mathematical formulation of cholera infectious dynamics using the fractal-fractional (F-F) derivative operator and examines the qualitative characteristics, equilibria conditions, and stabilities. The results indicate that reducing contact rate, successful recovery rate, and proper hygiene are essential for eliminating cholera disease from the community.

An approximate analytical view of physical and biological models in the setting of Caputo operator via Elzaki transform decomposition method

Saima Rashid et al.

Summary: This article presents a well-organized and novel algorithm for solving time-fractional Fornberg-Whitham, Klein-Gordon equation, and biological population models in physics and engineering. The algorithm combines the Elzaki (E) transformation and decomposition process. The E-transform decomposition method, generated in series form, is used to evaluate the numerical outcomes of fractional-order partial differential equations and decay the nonlinearity terms. Numerical algorithms and examples are provided to demonstrate the feasibility of the proposed approach, and the solutions obtained show a strong correlation with the exact findings. Numerical simulations are conducted to verify the accuracy of the proposed methods in solving complex nonlinear problems.

Qualitative analysis of solutions of obstacle elliptic inclusion problem with fractional Laplacian

Shengda Zeng et al.

Summary: The paper investigates an elliptic obstacle problem with a generalized fractional Laplacian and a multivalued operator, proving properties of the set of weak solutions and introducing a sequence of penalized problems without obstacle constraints. It is demonstrated that the Kuratowski upper limit of the sets of solutions to penalized problems is nonempty and contained in the set of solutions to the original elliptic obstacle problem.
