Summary: The study found that split-screen monitoring was non-inferior to conventional monitoring in performing critical tasks during anesthesia crisis situations. Avatar-based patient monitoring improved verbalization of the correct cause of emergencies but was associated with lower perceived usability compared to conventional monitoring.
