Tuning the morphology of SrTiO3 nanocubes and their enhanced electrical conductivity

Yulia Eka Putri et al.

Summary: In this study, strontium titanate (SrTiO3) nanocubes were successfully prepared using the solvothermal method. The addition of tert-butylamine (TBA) showed a synergistic effect in the nucleation and growth of SrTiO3, resulting in the formation of well-defined cubic particles. The synthesized nanocubes exhibited high crystallinity and regular shape. The presence of cetyltrimethylammonium bromide (CTAB) and TBA on the surface of the particles was confirmed. Regular nanocube samples showed increased electrical conductivity compared to non-regular nanocubes.
