Change-over switch for quantum states transfer with topological channels in a circuit-QED lattice

Liu-Yong Cheng et al.

Summary: This paper proposes schemes to achieve robust quantum state transfer between distant resonators using the topological edge states of a one-dimensional circuit QED lattice. By adding on-site defects on the resonators, the distribution of edge states can be regulated accordingly, and different types of quantum state transfer can be achieved without adjusting the number of lattices.

Engineering a Phase-Robust Topological Router in a Dimerized Superconducting-Circuit Lattice with Long-Range Hopping and Chiral Symmetry

Li-Na Zheng et al.

Summary: We propose a scheme for implementing a phase-robust topological router using a one-dimensional dimerized superconducting circuit lattice with long-range hopping. By mapping the proposed lattice into an extended chiral-symmetric Su-Schrieffer-Heeger (SSH) model with long-range hopping, we can engineer a phase-robust topological router that allows quantum state transfer from one site to multiple sites. The presence of mild disorder in the lattice has no significant effects on the quantum state transfer, thanks to the topological protection provided by chiral symmetry.

Nonlinear non-Hermitian higher-order topological laser

Motohiko Ezawa

Summary: In this study, the concept of topological lasers is explored in nonlinear, non-Hermitian, and topological lattice systems. By stimulating a single site, stable laser light emission is observed from all sites belonging to the topological edge or corner states, characterized by the density of states. This phenomenon is due to the combination of linear non-Hermitian loss terms and nonlinear non-Hermitian gain terms in the presence of topological edge or corner states. The real-time and real-space dynamics of the laser emission allow for the observation of the profile of topological edge or corner states.

Summary: The research shows that by designing the coupling of the optomechanical lattice, a phase transition can be achieved between the topologically nontrivial SSH model and the topologically trivial SSH model. Additionally, by controlling the decay of the cavity field and optomechanical coupling, photon states can be transferred between two cavity fields.

Summary: A superconducting qutrit-resonator chain model is proposed, with analytically derived forms of its topological edge states and the generation of N-body GHZ states with robustness. Three schemes for generating large-scale GHZ states are designed, each with the ability to handle qutrit or resonator losses, showing potential for high fidelity among dozens of qutrits. Additionally, experimental considerations for generating GHZ states based on the circuit QED system and the prospect of fast GHZ state realization are discussed.
