A new genus and thirteen species of jumping spiders from northern Vietnam are described. The new genus, Zabka gen. nov., accommodates two transferred species from Euophrys Blackwall,1841, including the generotype, Z. cooki (Zabka, 1985), comb. nov., and Z. xuyei (Lin & Li, 2020), comb. nov. Additionally, twelve new species are described, along with diagnostic photos of the habitus and copulatory organs.
A new genus and thirteen species of jumping spiders from northern Vietnam are reported. Zabka gen. nov. is erected to accommodate two species transferred from Euophrys Blackwall,1841, including the generotype, Z. cooki (Zabka, 1985), comb. nov., and Z. xuyei (Lin & Li, 2020), comb. nov. Twelve new species are described: Chinattus crewsae sp. nov. (male female), C. logunovi sp. nov. (male female), Eupoa maidinhyeni sp. nov. (male female), E. maddisoni sp. nov. (male female), E. ninhbinh sp. nov. (male), E. zabkai sp. nov. (male female), Indopadilla cuc sp. nov. (male female), Synagelides ani sp. nov. (male female), S. mii sp. nov. (male female), S. pengi sp. nov. (female), S. sancha sp. nov. (male female), and Yaginumaella hagiang sp. nov. (male). The unknown male of Zabka cooki is described for the first time. Diagnostic photos of the habitus and copulatory organs are provided.
