Electroosmotic flow of generalized fractional second grade fluid with fractional Cattaneo model through a vertical annulus

Abdullah Madhi Alsharif et al.

Summary: This study focuses on investigating the unsteady electroosmotic flow (EOF) of an electrolyte solution of generalized fractional second grade hybrid nanofluid confined between two vertical coaxial tubes. The results indicate that the hybrid nanofluid becomes more viscous with increasing volume concentration, leading to a reduction in electroosmotic velocity and flow rate. Additionally, the electroosmotic flow is enhanced by free convection force.

Residual time of sinusoidal metachronal ciliary flow of non-Newtonian fluid through ciliated walls: fertilization and implantation

A. Z. Zaher et al.

Summary: Monitoring the ciliated walls in the uterine tube is crucial for enhancing sperm reaching the egg. It was found that peristaltic ciliary flow has a more favorable residual time along the canal compared to peristaltic flow.

HYBRID NANOFLUID FLOWS THROUGH A VERTICAL DISEASED CORONARY ARTERY WITH HEAT TRANSFER

M. A. El Kot et al.

Summary: This study examines the behavior of a mixture of gold and Titanium Oxide nanoparticles in the diseased coronary artery and establishes a mathematical model to discuss parameters such as velocity, pressure, impedance, and heat transfer. It is found that the mixture of nanoparticles dispersed in blood requires high pressure to push it, and the impedance of blood is proportional to the overall volume concentration of the nanoparticles and Reynolds number.

Magnetic force effects on peristaltic transport of hybrid bio-nanofluid (Au-Cu nanoparticles) with moderate Reynolds number: An expanding horizon

R. E. Abo-Elkhair et al.

Summary: This study investigates the magnetic force and nonlinear thermal radiation of hybrid bio-nanofluid flow in a peristaltic channel under the influence of an applied magnetic field with high and low Reynolds numbers. The research findings show that gold nanofluid has the highest velocity, while the hybrid nanofluid exhibits high magnetic force and heat distribution.

Thermophoresis effect on peristaltic flow of viscous nanofluid in rotating frame

F. Mabood et al.

Summary: This paper investigates the simultaneous effects of Coriolis forces, Brownian motion, and thermophoresis on the peristaltic motion of Newtonian fluid. Numerical methods were used to conduct a parametric investigation and compare numerical values with existing literature, particularly focusing on primary and secondary velocities. Results show greater influence of Nt and Nb in the rotating frame compared to the non-rotating frame, with smaller temperature distribution in slip flow cases.
