Analysis of the nanoscale heat transport and Lorentz force based on the time-dependent Cross nanofluid

Assad Ayub et al.

Summary: Control of energy transport using external forces, particularly magnetic force, is a crucial topic in applied mathematics. This study focuses on the impact of variable thermal conductivity and Lorentz's force on unsteady flow of Cross nanofluid, specifically in contracting/extracting cylinder. The effects of physical parameters on fluid behavior and mass transport in different regions and geometries were comprehensively investigated using numerical methods. The obtained numerical solutions were compared and presented through figures and tables.

Entropy generation analysis of radiative heat transfer in Williamson fluid flowing in a microchannel with nonlinear mixed convection and Joule heating

B. Mahanthesh et al.

Summary: The spectral quasi-linearization (SQLM) method is used to solve the nonlinear mixed convective heat transfer problem of a Williamson fluid through a vertical microchannel. The study shows that the nonlinear density change with temperature significantly affects heat transport and increases the Bejan number and entropy production.

Significance of Dufour and Soret effects on the non-Darcy flow of Cross fluid by a tilted plate with radiation and chemical reaction: A Cattaneo-Christov heat flux model

Darapuneni Purna Chandar Rao et al.

Summary: In this study, the impact of cross-diffusion on non-Darcy flow was investigated numerically, revealing that the Dufour number affects fluid temperature, the Soret number improves fluid concentration, the Forchheimer number is negatively related to fluid velocity, and heat transfer rate has a positive correlation with thermal relaxation parameter. Validation of results showed good agreement with earlier findings under specified conditions.

Nonlinear buoyancy driven flow of hybrid nanoliquid past a spinning cylinder with quadratic thermal radiation

Puneet Rana et al.

Summary: The buoyancy driven flow on a vertical cylinder has applications in various engineering fields. In this study, the flow of water transporting hybrid nano-particles around a spinning cylinder surface subjected to quadratic radiative heat transfer is investigated. The research shows that heat transport is greater for quadratic radiation/convection compared to linear thermal radiation/convection. The governing partial differential equations are solved using a discretization method, and the maximum average heat transport is achieved through response surface methodology.

Sensitivity computation of Von Karman's swirling flow of nanoliquid under nonlinear Boussinesq approximation over a rotating disk with Stefan blowing and multiple slip effects

Puneet Rana et al.

Summary: This paper investigates the computational dynamics of Von Karman's rotatory motion of nanoliquid over a disc with thermal and solute buoyancy forces. The nonlinear Boussinesq approximation is used to model the system, and the optimal combination of key parameters for maximizing heat and mass transfer rates is found through sensitivity analysis. The study concludes that thermophoresis has the greatest impact on the thermal field, and the maximum heat and mass transfer rates achieved are 0.2334 and 0.6628, respectively.

Entropy generation of tangent hyperbolic nanofluid flow over a circular cylinder in the presence of nonlinear Boussinesq approximation: a non-similar solution

H. Thameem Basha et al.

Summary: The study investigates the fluid transport characteristics and entropy generation of a tangent hyperbolic nanofluid over a horizontal circular cylinder with the influence of nonlinear Boussinesq approximation. The results show that nanofluid velocity increases with enhancing mixed convection parameter, isotherms thickness escalates with increasing radiation parameter, and total entropy generation rises for higher values of dimensionless temperature ratio parameter.

K. Thriveni et al.

Summary: This study investigates the convective heat transfer characteristics of hybrid nanoliquids in a concentric annulus, analyzing the heat transport mechanisms under different influences. The results show that the heat transport rate is higher for space-related heat source/sink, and the mechanisms of quadratic convection and quadratic thermal radiation are favorable for the momentum of the nanoliquid, with the heat transport rate being more sensitive to quadratic thermal radiation.

Spectral quasi-linearization and irreversibility analysis of magnetized cross fluid flow through a microchannel with two different heat sources and Newton boundary conditions

Wael Al-Kouz et al.

Summary: The study investigates heat transfer of a magnetized cross fluid in a microchannel under two different heat source modulations and analyzes the resulting entropy production. The power-law index of the cross fluid reduces the magnitude of entropy production, velocity, and thermal field, while a higher Weissenberg number increases these parameters.
