Impact of Flue Gas Desulfurization Gypsum Applications to Corn-Soybean Plots on Surface Runoff Water Quality

Harpreet Kaur et al.

Summary: This study examined the effects of different rates of flue gas desulfurization (FGD) gypsum application on nutrient loading in water bodies. The results showed that appropriate application rates can reduce phosphorus (P) loads in surface runoff, but the effectiveness decreases after fertilizer application.
