Summary: This paper discusses the impact of dissolved gases on the sonochemical production of hydrogen, evaluating the influence of different gas properties (such as N-2, O-2, Ar, and air) on the kinetics of hydrogen formation. Experimental results demonstrate that argon can improve sonochemical hydrogen production, while the bubble population phenomenon in CO2-saturated water may hinder sonochemical activity.
