Label-free and dual-mode biosensor for HPV DNA based on DNA/silver nanoclusters and G-quadruplex/hemin DNAzyme

Junyang Chen et al.

Summary: A label-free and fluorimetric/colorimetric dual-mode sensing strategy was developed for the quantitative determination of HPV DNA. By integrating fluorescent DNA-silver nanoclusters and G-quadruplex/hemin DNAzyme, this strategy improved the diversity and accuracy of analysis. It has been successfully applied to HPV DNA analysis in different real samples with excellent results, providing a universal strategy for various kinds of virus analysis.

Enzyme-Encapsulated Zeolitic Imidazolate Frameworks Formed Inside the Single Glass Nanopore: Catalytic Performance and Sensing Application

Mengya Cao et al.

Summary: This study immobilized enzymes inside glass nanopores to study their catalytic activity and stability in a Metal-organic framework (MOF) environment. The change in transmembrane ion current was monitored to observe the enzyme catalysis in real time. The effects of MOF structure on enzyme activity and stability were also investigated, providing a novel design for studying enzymatic catalysis in confined environments with potential applications in various fields.

Recent advances on G-quadruplex for biosensing, bioimaging and cancer therapy

Jiaqi Xu et al.

Summary: G-quadruplex is a three-dimensional secondary structure of nucleic acids formed by Hoogsteen hydrogen pairing of four guanines, with various topologies applicable in biosensing and bioimaging. By incorporating fluorescence dyes or forming HRP-mimicking DNAzyme, G-quadruplex-based biosensors enable sensitive and selective detection of a wide range of molecules, thereby contributing to cancer therapy.
