Confirmation of Phase Transitions and Laser-Assisted Chemical Reaction for under Pressure

Hao Su et al.

Summary: The high-pressure behavior of pyridine has been studied using Raman and infrared spectra, synchrotron high-pressure XRD patterns, and laser-assisted irradiation. The results show a liquid-to-solid transition at 1 GPa, followed by multiple solid-to-solid transitions. Laser-induced reactions were observed, with a reduced pressure threshold for chemical reactions compared to single compression. Liquid chromatography-mass spectrometry analysis suggested the formation of various products, including 1-allylpyridinium nitrides and its polymers.

Compression Rate-Dependent Crystallization of Pyridine

Li Zhang et al.

Summary: The high-pressure polymorphism of pyridine was studied with different compression rates, showing that the compression rate can selectively control the nucleation pathway and result in different final products. The findings provide insights into the high-pressure crystallization kinetics of materials.

Experimental Observation of New Phase, Determination of Loading-Path of Amorphous State and Loading-Path Dependent Phase Transitions for Pyridine around Freezing Pressure via Raman Modes in Low Wavenumber

Hao Su et al.

Summary: This paper investigates the phase evolution of pyridine using Raman modes, revealing that the phase transitions of pyridine are related to the number of loading and unloading cycles, and different phases of pyridine can be obtained by processing at different pressures.

Investigation of intermolecular interactions in organic solutions by combining two-dimensional correlation Raman spectroscopy and DFT simulation: Example of methanol and Chloralkane

Lu Xing et al.

Summary: In this study, Raman spectroscopy combined with DFT and 2DCRS was used to investigate the intermolecular interactions in methanol-dichloromethane and methanol-chloroform binary solution systems. The results showed that the vibration frequencies of C-H bonds were affected by the mole fractions of methanol, indicating the presence of weak HBs interactions. The 2DCRS analysis revealed correlations between different chemical bonds, providing insight into the changes in intermolecular interactions.
