Fengtao Yu et al.

Summary: A series of D-A(1)-A(2) terpolymers were developed through adjusting the monomer feed molar ratio, which can effectively inhibit charge recombination and facilitate charge separation for the photoreduction of uranium. Among them, PTrSO-2 with a FMR of 0.75:1.0:0.75 achieved a remarkable 99.5% photocatalytic U(VI) reduction efficiency within 120 min of visible-light irradiation, surpassing most reported photocatalysts for similar applications. This work provides a new strategy and unconventional thinking for the development of CMPs photocatalysts in the treatment of radioactive wastewater.
