In situ controllable growth of Ag particles on paper for smartphone optical sensing of Hg2+based on nanozyme activity stimulation

This study proposes a smartphone optical nanosensor for highly sensitive Hg2+ detection based on the in situ controllable growth of Ag nanoparticles on paper. The sensor allows for rapid onsite analysis and achieves high sensitivity and specificity in detecting Hg2+.

Smartphone-assisted bioenzyme-nanozyme-chromogen all-in-one test strip with enhanced cascade signal amplification for convenient paraoxon sensing

These nanocomposites also showed high Hg adsorption capability and promise for environmental monitoring and wastewater treatment of toxic heavy metals.
