The role of heavy metals in thyroid cancer: A meta-analysis

Summary: Research has shown a significant positive standardized mean difference in manganese tissue levels between thyroid cancer patients and benign thyroid patients, while a significant negative standardized mean difference in cobalt blood levels was found between thyroid cancer patients and healthy controls.
