Nanoscale Bimetallic AuPt-Functionalized Metal Oxide Chemiresistors: Ppb-Level and Selective Detection for Ozone and Acetone

Summary: In this study, a highly efficient gas sensor was constructed using bimetallic nanocatalysts on one-dimensional nanofibers. The sensor demonstrated dual selective and ppb-level detection for ozone and acetone, and potential applications in monitoring and diagnosing diseases. The enhanced sensing performances were attributed to the synergistic catalytic effect of the bimetallic nanocatalysts at the interfaces.
