Flamingo-Optimization-Based Deep Convolutional Neural Network for IoT-Based Arrhythmia Classification

Ashwani Kumar et al.

Summary: Cardiac arrhythmia is a deadly disease that necessitates early detection and classification. By monitoring patient health data using IoT technology, abnormal heart signals causing arrhythmia can be detected at an earlier stage. The classification of arrhythmias is complex, and this research develops an effective classification model using flamingo optimization. ECG signals from the heart are collected and subjected to preprocessing, utilizing electrocardiograms to detect and control heart electrical activity. Input signals collected from IoT nodes are presented in the base station and classified using flamingo-optimization-based deep convolutional networks, effectively predicting the disease. With the aid of IoT and communication technologies, medical professionals can easily monitor patient health. Performance analysis includes accuracy, sensitivity, and specificity.
