Themis is indispensable for IL-2 and IL-15 signaling in T cells

Yongchao Liu et al.

Summary: This study found that Themis regulates cytokine signaling in mature T cells, and the deficiency of Themis will result in defects in T cell proliferation and metabolic changes, which are corrected in mice lacking the phosphatase Shp1. The research provides new insights into the mechanisms of cytokine signaling and offers new clues for manipulating T cells in clinical applications.
