Emulsion-oriented assembly for Janus double-spherical mesoporous nanoparticles as biological logic gates

Tiancong Zhao et al.

Summary: We demonstrate the fabrication of highly uniform Janus double-spherical MSN&mPDA nanoparticles using an emulsion-oriented assembly approach. The dual-mesoporous structure enables selective loading of guests in different compartments and the establishment of single-particle-level biological logic gates.

Site-specific anisotropic assembly of amorphous mesoporous subunits on crystalline metal-organic framework

Minchao Liu et al.

Summary: Porous anisotropic nanohybrids have attracted attention because of their unique properties including high surface area, tunable pore structures, and controllable compositions. Here, authors report a selective occupation strategy to achieve site-specific anisotropic growth of amorphous mesoporous subunits on crystalline MOFs.

Enzyme-Based Mesoporous Nanomotors with Near-Infrared Optical Brakes

Mengli Liu et al.

Summary: In this study, the application of near-infrared optical brakes in mesoporous nanomotors was successfully achieved, enabling remote speed control of enzyme-based nanomotors. This innovative approach offers great potential for designing smart active drug delivery systems based on nanomotors.
