2+1 tricarbonyl complexes [M(CO)(3)(N<^>N)CN(CH2)(10)COOMe]ClO4, where M = Tc or Re, N<^>N = 2,2'-bipyridine (bipy) or 1,10-phenanthroline (phen), were synthesized by reacting [M(CO)(3)(N<^>N)(MeOH)]ClO4 with methyl 11-isocyanoundecanoate in methanol. The complexes were characterized by IR and H-1 NMR spectroscopy and elemental analysis. The resistance of the 2+1 tricarbonyl complexes to chelation with histidine was evaluated.
2+1 tricarbonyl compexes [M(CO)(3)(N<^>N)CN(CH2)(10)COOMe]ClO4, where M = Tc or Re, N<^>N = 2,2 '-bipyridine (bipy) or 1,10-phenanthroline (phen), were prepared by the reaction of [M(CO)(3)(N<^>N)(MeOH)]ClO4 with methyl 11-isocyanoundecanoate in methanol. The complexes were isolated and characterized by IR and H-1 NMR spectroscopy and by elemental analysis. The resistance of the 2+1 tricarbonyl complexes obtained to transchelation with histidine was evaluated.
