Experimental study of indoor light/thermal environment with spectrally selective windows using ATO nanofluids in winter

Chunxiao Zhang et al.

Summary: This study proposes a novel semi-dynamic fluidic window filled with ATO/water nanofluids to bridge the gap between dynamic windows and static windows. The research experimentally studied its performance and found that the spectrally selective windows have higher surface temperatures and longer delay time for indoor peak temperature compared to common windows.

Analysis of the influencing factors of the dust on the surface of photovoltaic panels and its weakening law to solar radiation d A case study of Tianjin

Wanxiang Yao et al.

Summary: With the increasing concern for energy crisis and environmental pollution, solar photovoltaic technology has gained more attention. This study focused on the impact of dust on photovoltaic panels by considering multiple factors and measuring transmittance. The results showed that southward-facing panels were more affected by wind velocity and direction, with dust accumulation initially increasing and then decreasing under the influence of rainfall. A functional relationship between dust density and dip angle was established, and the recommended cleaning frequency for PV panels was determined.
