Studies on development of adhesive material from post-consumer (waste) expanded polystyrene: a two-edged sword approach

Appala Naidu Uttaravalli et al.

Summary: In this study, low-cost adhesive materials were prepared by utilizing waste EPS, with MEK identified as the most suitable solvent. The in-house developed adhesives are suitable for sticking paper and wood-based substrates, with comparable adhesive strength to commercial adhesives.
