Summary: Addressing anti-vaccine conspiracy theories requires counternarratives rather than just corrective information. Although no narrative interventions specifically targeted conspiracy theories were found, evidence-based recommendations from the review can guide future research and public communicators to help pro-vaccine communication compete with anti-vaccine communication in terms of spreading potential.
