Navigation ability in patients with acquired brain injury: A population-wide online study

Summary: The study found that patients with acquired brain injuries (ABI) have significant difficulties in navigation ability, with performance on objective navigation tasks lower than healthy controls. Tasks like landmark recognition, route continuation, and allocentric location knowledge were most vulnerable to brain injury, and the prevalence of subjective navigation impairments was higher in the ABI population.
