Synergistic enrichment of electrically conductive polypropylene-graphite composites for fuel cell bipolar plates

Muhammad Tariq et al.

Summary: This research study developed electrically conductive Polypropylene (PP) based composites using twin-screw extrusion technique, and investigated the effects of primary and binary fillers on the overall electrical performance and mechanical properties of the composites. The experimental results showed that the binary filler composites exhibited higher electrical conductivity and flexural strength compared to the single filler composites.

Synthesis of epoxy-based silicone prepolymers with UV/moisture dual curability for applications in anti-graffiti coatings

Fuping Bian et al.

Summary: UV photocuring technology is important for crosslinking of polymers. This study synthesized epoxy-based silicone prepolymers using a simple hydrosilylation reaction. The prepolymers could be crosslinked under UV irradiation and condensed under moisture ambient, leading to thick and pigmented coatings. These coatings have high transparency, excellent heat resistance, good mechanical properties, and anti-smudge and anti-fingerprint properties, showing potential applications as anti-smudge coatings.
