Quark and Gluon Form Factors in Four-Loop QCD

Roman N. Lee et al.

Summary: In this study, we computed the photon-quark and Higgs-gluon form factors to four-loop order within massless perturbative quantum chromodynamics. Our results provide ready-to-use building blocks for (NLO)-L-4 cross sections for Drell-Yan processes and gluon-fusion Higgs boson production at the LHC, and we present complete analytic expressions for both form factors and show several of the most complicated master integrals.

Matching generalised transverse-momentum-dependent distributions onto generalised parton distributions at one loop

Valerio Bertone

Summary: This study utilizes the operator definition of GTMD distributions to compute the full set of one-loop corrections to the off-forward matching functions, establishing the relationship between GTMDs and GPDs. By incorporating recent determinations of TMD distributions, non-perturbative corrections can be included in the unpolarised case. Evolution effects for GTMDs closely resemble those for TMDs, allowing for easy calculations up to next-to-next-to-leading logarithmic accuracy.

Computing light-front wave functions without light-front quantization: A large-momentum effective theory approach

Xiangdong Ji et al.

Summary: Light-front wave functions are crucial in the light-front quantization approach, but their naive implementation faces challenges including the zero-mode problem, rapidity divergences, and breaking of spatial rotational symmetry. We propose to view light-front quantization as an effective theory and use the large momentum expansion of the equal-time Euclidean correlation functions to calculate light-front correlations. This large-momentum effective theory can be achieved through lattice QCD calculations.

Relations between generalized parton distributions and transverse momentum dependent parton distributions

Bheemsehan Gurjar et al.

Summary: In this study, the relations between transverse momentum dependent parton distributions (TMDs) and generalized parton distributions (GPDs) were investigated in a light-front quark-diquark model inspired by soft-wall AdS/QCD. Many relations with similar structures were found in different models. It was discovered that a relation between the Sivers function and the GPD equation could be obtained in this model using a lensing function. Additionally, the calculation of quark orbital angular momentum was compared with results from similar models, and implications of the findings were discussed. Relations among different TMDs in the model were also presented.

GTMD model predictions for diffractive dijet production at EIC

Daniel Boer et al.

Summary: In this paper, a small-x model for gluon GTMDs is considered and fitted to data on diffractive dijet production in electron-proton collisions from HERA's H1 Collaboration. Predictions for the EIC for both electroproduction and photoproduction are obtained using this model. The impact parameter dependence and implications for the model's applicability range are discussed, highlighting subtle issues related to localization of states and choice of frames.
