Aspirin-aromatic amino acid conjugates as selective Cox-2 inhibitors: A docking study

Mahmood H. M. Jasim et al.

Summary: The study examined the potential of eight compounds in inhibiting the Cox-2 enzyme through aspirin conjugation with aromatic amino acids. Results showed that while the scores were lower than Celecoxib, these designed compounds were top ranked in solutions generated for each compound, indicating promise for the development of selective and safe Cox-2 inhibitors.
