Robust double relaxed regression for image classification

Wenbo Wang et al.

Summary: This paper proposes a Robust Double Relaxed Regression (RDRR) method for image classification, which alleviates the contradiction between increased model flexibility and aggravated overfitting through noise reduction. Three strategies are used to improve flexibility and avoid overfitting, and comparative experiments demonstrate the superiority of RDRR in classification accuracy.

A Novel Two-Stage Unsupervised Fault Recognition Framework Combining Feature Extraction and Fuzzy Clustering for Collaborative AIoT

Xufeng Hu et al.

Summary: This article proposes a novel two-stage unsupervised fault recognition algorithm, called the deep adaptive fuzzy clustering algorithm (DAFC), for unsupervised fault clustering analysis. Experimental results show that DAFC can stably extract fault features from unlabeled data and automatically obtain the optimal clustering results without prior knowledge of the number of clusters.

Self-supervised part segmentation via motion imitation

Yanping Zhang et al.

Summary: This paper proposes a method of learning part information based on motion simulation, where the network minimizes its creativity to ensure generated images are similar to reference images only when part information is accurate. The complementarity of key point information and part information is explored, and a joint learning module is introduced for mutual benefits.

Denoising Low-Rank Discrimination based Least Squares Regression for image classification

Pu Huang et al.

Summary: Least Squares Regression (LSR) is a powerful method for transforming high-dimensional space into a low-dimensional label subspace, but low-rank constraints may destroy data structure. In this paper, a Denoising Low-Rank Discrimination based Least Squares Regression (DLRDLSR) model is proposed to eliminate noise in label space, and experiments show that the proposed method outperforms other state-of-the-art methods.

Clustered Discriminant Regression for High-Dimensional Data Feature Extraction and Its Applications in Healthcare and Additive Manufacturing

Bo Shen et al.

Summary: The recent surge in high-dimensional data applications has posed a challenge to data analytics, prompting the development of a new supervised feature extraction method called clustered discriminant regression (CDR). This method has been shown to outperform existing methods in real-world case studies, particularly for image and video classification of high-dimensional data. Its computational efficiency also holds promise for online applications like advanced manufacturing process monitoring and control.

Hyperspectral Image Classification Based on Multilevel Joint Feature Extraction Network

Xiaochen Lu et al.

Summary: The proposed multilevel joint feature extraction network has shown significant effectiveness in processing HSI classification tasks by extracting spectral-spatial features efficiently. Through a designed convolution process, information from each channel is transformed into valid channel-wised spatial features and forms global attention details to guide further feature mining. Ultimately, features obtained at different levels are integrated for ground object classification.
