Longer-Term Anti-VEGF Therapy Outcomes in Neovascular Age-Related Macular Degeneration, Diabetic Macular Edema, and Vein Occlusion-Related Macular Edema

Thomas A. Ciulla et al.

Summary: This study assessed the clinical practice visual acuity outcomes of anti-VEGF therapy in patients with nAMD, DME, BRVO-ME, and CRVO-ME over a period of 5 years. The results showed limited visual improvement in these patients at 3 and 5 years, with nAMD patients tending to experience a decline in visual acuity. The mean change in visual acuity was correlated with treatment intensity across all four conditions.
