T. R. Vijaybabu et al.

Summary: In this study, the effects of different alignments of porous elliptical cylinder and orientation of magnetic field intensity on buoyancy driven flow and heat transfer in an enclosure were investigated using lattice Boltzmann technique. The results showed that the parameters such as buoyancy force, permeability, magnetic field intensity, and orientation significantly influenced the flow and heat transfer behavior.

Entropy generation of natural heat exchange into a porous medium accumulated by a hybrid nanoliquid applying LTNE model

Hosein Shaker et al.

Summary: This study investigates the entropy production and natural heat exchange in a porous medium using the thermal non-equilibrium approach. It is found that the thermal conductivity ratio between the rigid wall and the nanoliquid does not affect the entropy generation and viscous friction in the nanoliquid phase. Additionally, a higher amount of entropy is generated by the thermal gradients in the nanoliquid phase compared to the solid matrix.

Theoretical analysis on MHD nanofluid flow between two concentric cylinders using efficient computational techniques

Sina Gouran et al.

Summary: The aim of the current research is to analyze thermal radiation on nanofluid flow between two circular cylinders under the influence of a magnetic field using two effective computational methods. The numerical and analytical techniques used are the differential quadrature scheme and the optimal homotopy asymptotic approach. Results show that the methods have excellent accuracy, reliability, and simplicity, with temperature and Nusselt number varying with different physical variables.

Prescribed Thermal Activity in the Radiative Bidirectional Flow of Magnetized Hybrid Nanofluid: Keller-Box Approach

Iftikhar Ahmad et al.

Summary: This study investigates the effects of thermal conditions on the unsteady 3D dynamics of water-based radiative hybrid nanofluids with cylindrical-shaped nanosized particles and the Lorentz force. The transport equations are transformed into ordinary differential equations and numerically solved. Graphical illustrations and convergence analysis are used to predict the impact of parameters on the thermal setup. The results show that temperature distribution increases with higher radiation parameters and decreases with improved temperature maintaining indices. The inclusion of cylindrical-shaped nanoparticles improves the thermophysical properties of the hybrid nanofluids.

Summary: This article investigates the heat transmission effects in solar heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems, including copper and graphene oxide nanoparticles, thermal radiative fluxing, and mass transfer. By simplifying the partial differential equations into ordinary differential equations and using numerical techniques for solution, this study mathematically processes and presents the physical attributes through tables and figures, indicating that increasing the volume fraction of nanoparticles and activation energy enhances the temperature and mass fraction field.

Numerical study of MHD hybrid nanofluid flow between two coaxial cylinders

A. Alsaedi et al.

Summary: This paper presents a numerical study on the flow of a hybrid nanofluid between two coaxial cylinders. The results show that higher magnetic parameters lead to a decrease in the velocity of the hybrid nanofluid and nanofluid. Higher magnetic and Brinkman parameters increase the temperature of the hybrid nanofluid and nanofluid. The temperature decreases with an increase in the nanoparticle volume fraction for copper. The Nusselt number increases with the nanoparticle volume fraction for both copper and graphene oxide nanoparticles.

Impact of thermal radiation and non-uniform heat flux on MHD hybrid nanofluid along a stretching cylinder

Aamir Ali et al.

Summary: The study investigates the impacts of thermal radiations and non-uniform heat flux on magnetohydrodynamic hybrid nanofluid flow along a stretching cylinder. By using numerical methods, changes in velocity and temperature fields are analyzed. Results show that adding hybrid nanofluid particles decreases fluid velocity but increases temperature, while considering magnetic field and slip effects also leads to a decrease in fluid velocity.

Summary: This study models the magnetohydrodynamic Sutterby fluid flow caused by a spinning stretchable disk, incorporating Stefan blowing, heat and mass flux aspects, and modified traditional heat and mass flux models for greater accuracy. The results show that Stefan blowing leads to increased species diffusion, while external magnetism decreases velocity field and enhances heat transport.
