Connectivity concepts in neuronal network modeling

Based on this review, a set of connectivity concepts is derived and a unified graphical notation is proposed to facilitate intuitive understanding of network properties. The proposed standardizations are expected to contribute to unambiguous descriptions and reproducible implementations of neuronal network connectivity in computational neuroscience.
