Distributed non-fragile set-membership filtering for nonlinear systems under fading channels and bias injection attacks

Lei Liu et al.

Summary: This paper investigates the secure distributed set-membership filtering problem for general nonlinear systems over wireless sensor networks. Bias injection attacks and channel fading of wireless communication are taken into account in filter design. By using LMI technique and Taylor's expansion formula, nonlinearity, channel fading, bias injection attacks, and non-fragility are handled simultaneously to address the filter design problem. Sufficient conditions are obtained for pre-specified filtering performance, and an optimal algorithm is proposed for locally best performance. Simulation example demonstrates the effectiveness of the proposed secure filtering algorithm.

Observer-based non-fragile H∞-consensus control for multi-agent systems under deception attacks

Jinnan Zhang et al.

Summary: This paper addresses the non-fragile H-infinity-consensus control problem for multi-agent systems subject to deception attacks and missing measurements based on the designed observers. A sequence of Bernoulli distributed stochastic variables is used to characterize the random nature of missing measurements, and constraint conditions are given for malicious signals in deception attacks. Based on Lyapunov stability theory, sufficient conditions are established to ensure the existence of the desired observer and controller, and gain parameters are calculated by solving linear matrix inequalities. An explanative example is employed to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed distributed control algorithm.

Outlier-Resistant Recursive Filtering for Multisensor Multirate Networked Systems Under Weighted Try-Once-Discard Protocol

Yuxuan Shen et al.

Summary: This article studies a new outlier-resistant recursive filtering problem for a class of multisensor multirate networked systems under the weighted try-once-discard protocol. The use of a saturation function in the filter structure to constrain innovations contaminated by measurement outliers is proposed, along with the derivation of an upper bound on the covariance of the filtering error through a matrix difference equation solution. Additionally, the exponential boundedness of filtering error dynamics in the mean square sense is analyzed.

Outlier-Resistant Remote State Estimation for Recurrent Neural Networks With Mixed Time-Delays

Jiahui Li et al.

Summary: This brief addresses a new outlier-resistant state estimation problem for a class of recurrent neural networks with mixed time-delays. A confidence-dependent saturation function is proposed to mitigate the side effects from measurement outliers on the estimation error dynamics. By using a combination of Lyapunov-Krasovskii functional and inequality manipulations, a delay-dependent criterion is established to ensure the existence of the outlier-resistant state estimator achieving asymptotic stability with a prescribed H-infinity performance index.
