Characterization of a Mass-Produced SiPM at Liquid Nitrogen Temperature for CsI Neutrino Coherent Detectors

Fang Liu et al.

Summary: In this study, a low-temperature CsI neutrino coherent scattering detector that can be read by a SiPM sensor was designed. The SiPM was tested at liquid nitrogen temperature, and it was found that SiPM works properly at this temperature.

Comprehensive passivation strategy for achieving inverted perovskite solar cells with efficiency exceeding 23% by trap passivation and ion constraint

Fan Zhang et al.

Summary: The study demonstrates a comprehensive passivation strategy for achieving high-performance inverted PSCs by reducing trap density at interfaces and grain boundaries of the perovskite active layer. The unencapsulated PSCs from this passivation strategy achieved the highest power conversion efficiency of 23.33% with remarkable long-term stability under illumination and humidity. The work also presents an original method using C-V and DLCP measurements to analyze trap density distribution and ion accumulation density at interfaces of PSCs.

A LaBr3(Ce) detector system with a simple spectral shift correction method for applications in harsh environments

Yire Choi et al.

Summary: The study developed a prototype LaBr3 detector system with integrated electronics for accurate gamma ray spectroscopy in harsh environments, employing a simple spectral shift method to restore gamma spectra in real-time under temperatures ranging from -20 to +50 degrees Celsius. The method was tested at different temperatures and successfully validated the long-term stability of measurements using the LaBr3 detector system.

Stabilizing perovskite-substrate interfaces for high-performance perovskite modules

Shangshang Chen et al.

Summary: The study found that DMSO liquid additive trapped in perovskite-substrate interfaces during film formation led to voids, accelerating film degradation. Partial replacement of DMSO with solid-state carbohydrazide reduced interfacial voids and increased stability. Blade-coated p-i-n structure PSCs achieved a maximum PCE of 23.6% without efficiency loss after stability tests, demonstrating improved efficiency and stability with the new approach.
