Oxidative electropolymerization films of a styrene-appending ruthenium complex with highly performed electrochemical, solar photoelectric conversion and photoelectrochemical oxygen reduction properties

Hong-Ju Yin et al.

Summary: This study presents the first example of an oxidatively electropolymerized thin film of a styrenyl-containing ruthenium complex under ambient conditions. The electropolymerized film exhibits good adherence, chemical stability, porous structure, strong photoluminescence, and well reversible and surface-controlled redox behavior. The modified electrode shows significant cathodic photocurrent under white light irradiation and enhanced cathodic photo-current due to oxygen presence.

Signal-enhanced electrochemiluminescence strategy using iron-based metal-organic frameworks modified with carboxylated Ru(II) complexes for neuron-specific enolase detection

Chenchen Li et al.

Summary: In this study, a highly efficient and sensitive ECL immunoassay for detecting neuron-specific enolase (NSE) was developed by linking carboxylated Ru(bpy)(3)(2+) to an iron-based metal-organic framework (NH2-MIL-88 (Fe)) and using polyaniline-intercalating vanadium oxide (PVO) nanosheets as the substrate. The NH2-MIL-88 (Fe) and PVO provided abundant amino groups that enhanced the ECL signal by catalyzing the reactions of the co-reactant S2O82-. This research offers an effective strategy for ultrasensitive detection of trace proteins using ECL immunoassays.

Drop-Casting to Make Efficient Perovskite Solar Cells under High Humidity

Chuantian Zuo et al.

Summary: Drop-casting was used to prepare MAPbI(3) films for solar cells, with crystal growth orientation being temperature-dependent. The method shows better tolerance to humidity compared to spin-coating, and the resulting MAPbI(3) solar cells achieved a high PCE under high humidity conditions without antisolvent assistance.
