Ab initio study on the singlet states of Zn-RG (RG = He, Ne, Ar, Kr, Xe, Rn) molecules

Lulu Li et al.

Summary: Computations were carried out on the potential energy curves (PECs) of Zn-RG (RG = He, Ne, Ar, Kr, Xe, Rn) molecule using various methods, and spectroscopic constants and transition properties were calculated. The results were compared with experimental and theoretical works, showing reasonable agreement. This study provides valuable insights into the electronic structure and spectroscopy of Zn-RG van der Waals molecules.

Rydberg states of ZnAr complex

Andrzej Kedziorski et al.

Summary: In this study, the potential energy curves (PECs) of electronic states of ZnAr complex are calculated and the sources of errors are analyzed. The inclusion of midbond bases significantly improves the convergence rate of binding energies. Additionally, the properties of the double-well PECs of the Sigma Rydberg states are explained.

The ground state van der Waals potentials of Cd-RG systems

L. M. Wei et al.

Summary: This study assumes that the corresponding states principle is valid for hetero-nuclear dimers formed from group 12 and rare gas atoms. The van der Waals potentials of Cd-RG can be described by the TT potential using dispersion coefficients and combining rules. Results of Cd-RG are compared with experimental and theoretical data from other studies.

A revisited study of the low-lying electronic states of HF molecule

Yadong Liu et al.

Summary: In this study, the electronic structure of the HF molecule was investigated using Gaussian basis sets and the multireference configuration interaction method. The potential energy curves and spectroscopic constants of 19 electronic states were determined. The results of this research will enhance the understanding of the electronic excited states of the HF molecule.
