Production of high-affinity monoclonal antibody and development of immunoassay for 3-methyl-quinoxaline-2-carboxylic acid detection in swine muscle and liver

Xiya Zhang et al.

Summary: In this study, a novel hapten named H6 was designed for the detection of MQCA, a residual marker of olaquindox. A monoclonal antibody named 8C9 was obtained with significantly improved specificity compared to previous antibodies against MQCA. The 8C9 monoclonal antibody showed high sensitivity and specificity in the development of an indirect competitive ELISA method for the detection of MQCA in swine samples.

A comparative study of turn-off' mode and turn-on mode lateral flow immunoassay for T-2 toxin detection

Xiya Zhang et al.

Summary: This study objectively compared the turn-off mode lateral flow immunoassay (LFA) and the turn-on mode LFA based on inner filter effect (IFE-LFA) to improve the sensitivity of LFAs. Various nanoparticles were used as labels and absorbers to develop the different LFAs. The results demonstrated that ACNPs-mAb-TRFMs-BSA exhibited the highest sensitivity among all LFAs. These findings provide a perspective for enhancing the sensitivity of LFAs for on-site screening of trace substances.

Fluorescence polarization immunoassay based on fragmentary hapten for rapid and sensitive screening of polymyxins in human serum

Yingjie Zhang et al.

Summary: Polymyxin B and polymyxin E are last-line antibiotics used to treat infections caused by multidrug-resistant Gram-negative pathogens. A fluorescence polarization immunoassay method was developed for rapid screening of polymyxin B and polymyxin E in human serum, with high sensitivity and uniform specificity. The method showed efficient, accurate, and sensitive detection of polymyxins.

Fluorescence polarization immunoassay based on fragmentary hapten for rapid and sensitive screening of polymyxins in human serum

Yingjie Zhang et al.

Summary: A fluorescence polarization immunoassay (FPIA) with high sensitivity and uniform specificity for rapid screening of polymyxin B (PMB) and polymyxin E (PME) in human serum was developed. The FPIA method demonstrated efficiency, accuracy, and sensitivity for the detection of polymyxins in human serum.
