Identification and reconstruction of anomalous sensing data for combustion analysis of marine diesel engines

Shunhua Ou et al.

Summary: This paper presents an anomaly identification and reconstruction method for improving the analysis quality of the combustion analysis system (CAS). The method combines the trigger-sample principle and the 0D-thermodynamic model. Experimental results demonstrate the effectiveness of the method in locating abnormal cylinder pressure and rejecting measurement noise without losing valuable sensing information.

Evaluation of emission characteristics of a stoichiometric natural gas engine fueled with compressed natural gas and biomethane

Sangho Lee et al.

Summary: The performance of an engine using biomethane deteriorated in the wide-open throttle test, but it met the EURO-6 emission standards for nitrogen oxide, carbon monoxide, and non-methane hydrocarbons in the world harmonized transient cycle mode. However, methane and ammonia emissions were higher than specified in the EURO-6 standards, and fuel consumption with biomethane was 39.4% higher than with CNG in the WHTC mode.
