In this study, we investigate a binary mixture system in which one component of the mixture has local Kelvin-Voigt damping. The well-posedness and polynomial stability of the system are demonstrated using the semigroup theory and the frequency domain approach.
We consider a binary mixture system with local Kelvin-Voigt damping in one of the components of the mixture. The well-posedness and the polynomial stability are proved by the semigroup theory and the frequency domain approach.
