Conductometric NO2 gas sensors based on MOF-derived porous ZnO nanoparticles

Xiaowei Ren et al.

Summary: In this study, an ultrahigh sensitive and selective NO2 gas sensor based on porous ZnO nanocubes derived from metal organic frameworks (MOFs) was reported. The fabricated gas sensor demonstrated excellent selectivity to NO2 over other gases, attributed to the unique structure after pyrolysis which provides more exposed active sites and connected pore channels.

Excellent Catalytic Performance of Ce-MOF with Abundant Oxygen Vacancies Supported Noble Metal Pt in the Oxidation of Toluene

Yang Liu et al.

Summary: This study investigated the catalytic performance of different catalysts prepared using metal organic framework (MOF) as carriers and noble metal Pt as the active component. The results showed that rod-shaped Pt/MOF-BTC exhibited the best catalytic performance, with high stability and resistance to water. The study also found that the amorphous structure of Pt/MOF-BTC had no effect on its catalytic activity. These findings provide valuable insights for future research on MOF in the field of volatile organic compound catalytic oxidation.
