Initial outcome of external biliary drainage in living donor liver transplantation with pure laparoscopic donor hepatectomy

Eunsung Jang et al.

Summary: This study retrospectively analyzed patients who underwent living donor liver transplantation and compared the incidence of biliary complications between those who underwent external biliary drainage (EBD) and those who did not. The results showed that EBD implementation is effective in preventing biliary leakage after liver transplantation, but caution should be taken to prevent EBD-related complications.
