Hybrid MWCNTs/Ag Nanofiller Reinforced PVP/CMC Blend-Based Polymer Nanocomposites for Multifunctional Optoelectronic and Nanodielectric Applications

M. A. Morsi et al.

Summary: In this study, polymer nanocomposite films of polyvinyl pyrrolidone and carboxymethyl cellulose filled with multiwalled carbon nanotubes and silver nanoparticles were prepared by the solution casting method. The films exhibited a semi-crystalline structure and improved optical properties. The addition of nanofillers increased the electrical conductivity and resulted in the formation of three-dimensional charge pathways. The films showed potential for applications in antireflection coatings, thin film capacitors, and energy storage devices.
