Summary: This study examines the Canadian pediatric rheumatology workforce and care processes. The findings reveal a national deficit of pediatric rheumatologists at the recommended benchmark, with a regional maldistribution of these specialists. Most rheumatologists work in multidisciplinary teams, but there may be inadequate support for allied health professionals (AHPs).
